Vivo has confirmed the Y600’s launch only in China.
Vivo has confirmed that its upcoming Y600 smartphone will launch in China on October 30, with pre-orders scheduled to begin on October 26. The company has also revealed the phone’s design and confirmed that it will feature a massive 10,000mAh battery.
The smartphone was spotted on the Google Play Console earlier this month. It is expected to join Vivo’s battery-focused Y-series lineup, which includes the Y600 Pro, Y600 Turbo and Y600i, with battery capacities across these models ranging from 8,000mAh to 10,200mAh.
For now, Vivo has confirmed the Y600’s launch only in China. The company has not announced whether the phone will be released in other markets.
Vivo Y600 Launch Date And Design
The Vivo Y600 will debut in China on October 30, while pre-orders are expected to open on October 26.
Vivo has showcased the smartphone in white and blue colour options. The device features a square-shaped rear camera module surrounded by a gold-coloured border, along with flat edges.

The power button and volume controls are positioned on the right side of the phone.
The overall design resembles the Vivo S2 FE, which launched in India earlier this month. This has led to speculation that the Y600 could be a rebranded version of that device, although Vivo has not officially confirmed the connection.
Vivo Y600 Specifications And Battery
The 10,000mAh battery is the phone’s biggest highlight. Vivo claims the device set a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous livestream test, lasting 32 hours and 37 minutes.
The claimed result has yet to establish how long the battery will last under everyday conditions, as real-world performance depends on factors such as screen brightness, network connectivity, applications and usage patterns. However, the battery’s capacity suggests that extended use between charges could be a major selling point.
The Vivo Y600 is also tipped to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, a 50-megapixel rear camera and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
These reported specifications also resemble those of the Vivo S2 FE, further fuelling speculation that the two phones could share much of their hardware.

Vivo has not yet confirmed the full specifications or pricing of the Y600. Its availability outside China also remains unclear.
If the reported specifications prove accurate, the Y600 could appeal to buyers who prioritise battery life over having to charge their smartphones every day. More details are expected to emerge around its official launch.
