A few days ago it emerged that Lenovo was getting back into the smartphone game with a refresh of the Legion Y70 launched back in 2022. The 2026 edition will most likely be an entirely new device that just reuses the old name for whatever reason (public awareness perhaps? It might be big in China).
Today the company has released the teaser video you can see below, which shows the design of the new Y70 and confirms its very Motorola-inspired looks (which are no coincidence as Lenovo owns Motorola and has probably decided to reuse its designs to simplify development).
The new Y70 will have a ton of AI, that’s for sure, but unfortunately no actual specs have been revealed yet. What Lenovo has announced, on the other hand, is the phone’s official unveiling date, which is May 19. So there’s plenty of time for more teasers and spec reveals until then, stay tuned.
