Motorola Signature 27 stars in hands-on promo video ahead of launch

While we wait for Motorola to fully take the wraps off the Signature 27, its next flagship smartphone, the company has partnered up with Danny Winget for an exclusive hands-on promo video showcasing the device in all its glory. You can see it below.

The Signature 27 is confirmed to come in two colors, Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Olive, and to have Audio by Bang & Olufsen, as the company previously announced. The phone sports a 6.8-inch "Extreme AMOLED Duo" branded screen, which has an LTPO Tandem OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. It will go up to a whopping 12,000 nits of brightness, but of course only with very low coverage.

The size of the Signature 27's battery is still a mystery, but the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset is confirmed, and paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The phone also boasts a 40% larger vapor chamber (compared to the original Signature, we assume, although this isn't stated). It runs Android 17 with a promise of seven years of OS updates.

On the back there are four cameras: a 50MP main one using Sony's Lytia 910 sensor with LOFIC technology, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with up to 100x digital zoom, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a dedicated action sensor that's meant to freeze fast-moving objects in your photos. Motorola will launch the Signature 27 on November 5.
