According to an India Today report, companies will increase the prices of their handsets by Rs 1000 to Rs 3000 due to the rising cost of components. In addition to smartphones, Xiaomi is also preparing to increase the prices of select smart TV models.
According to the report, due to the high demand from AI data centers, the cost of memory components like RAM and NAND has increased significantly, leading to a memory crisis. However, companies have not issued any official statement regarding the price hike.

1. Samsung: Budget phones from A and F series will become expensive
Samsung may increase the prices of its popular A and F series budget and mid-range phones. These include Galaxy A07 4G, Galaxy A07 5G, Galaxy F17 5G, and Galaxy A17 5G. Depending on the variant, an increase of Rs 1,000 to Rs 3,000 can be seen.

Due to limited supply and very high demand, component prices are skyrocketing, which has directly impacted gadget manufacturing costs.
