Back in April rumors started going around saying Samsung would be adding a fourth member to its Galaxy S27 family, and yesterday a new rumor told us what screen size the Galaxy S27 Pro would have. Today yet another rumor is talking about its cameras.
Based on the previous rumors, we were under the impression that the S27 Pro would be an S27 Ultra without an S Pen and smaller in size. However, this new rumor contradicts that, saying the Pro and Ultra will have a different telephoto camera.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is rumored to only have three cameras on the rear, one less than all of its predecessors. It will thus only have one telephoto shooter. On the other hand, it’s expected to use new sensors for both the main camera and the ultrawide.
These will be shared with the Galaxy S27 Pro, if the source of this rumor is correct, while the telephoto will differ, though it’s not clear in what way. We assume the fact that the S27 Pro is smaller than the S27 Ultra may have played a part in this differentiation, with the Pro perhaps getting a smaller sensor for its telephoto, but we’ll have to wait for more information to come out in order to be sure, so stay tuned.
