Taboola has partnered with Motorola to integrate its DeeperDive generative AI answer engine into the lock screen of select Moto g smartphones, with a phased rollout planned across 2026 and 2027.

The integration will allow users to ask questions, explore topics, and discover content from publishers directly from their device’s lock screen. DeeperDive uses generative AI and publisher content to provide answers, related stories and additional context.

Users will be able to explore topics including sports, entertainment, finance, travel and politics, and access relevant articles and follow-up topics based on their queries.

The rollout is expected to cover select moto g devices in markets including the U.K., Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Mexico and Argentina.

The partnership builds on an existing relationship between the companies, under which Taboola provides personalized content recommendations on select moto g devices in certain markets.

Since 2025, publishers including USA TODAY Co., HuffPost UK, BuzzFeed Asia and Bangkok Post have integrated DeeperDive into their digital experiences.

Speaking on the development, Adam Singolda, CEO, Taboola, said, “Motorola continues to innovate the ways consumers interact with their devices and discover the content that matters to them. DeeperDive creates a new way for people to explore their interests and get useful answers informed by trusted publisher content. We’re proud to expand our relationship with Motorola and bring this experience directly to consumers on their smartphones.”
