With the 27.2 software updates released today, Siri AI — an entirely new version of Siri that is profoundly more capable, conversational, and personal — is expanding to more people around the world, with availability now in the French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish languages.
Siri AI is a completely reimagined version of Siri that is more personal and powerful, without compromising users’ privacy. Built on Apple Intelligence, it draws on personal context understanding to help users find what they need in the moment across their messages, emails, photos, and more. With even more systemwide app actions, Siri AI can help users with tasks such as drafting an email from scratch or editing and sharing a set of photos. With onscreen awareness, Siri AI can answer questions or take actions related to the content on a user’s screen. It can also use broad world knowledge to get up-to-date information on virtually any topic.
Language support for Siri AI will continue to expand, with availability in Chinese (traditional), Norwegian, Turkish, and Vietnamese coming by the end of the year.
