Realme announces return to Finnish market on May 18 with three devices

Realme has announced its return to the Finnish market with an official post on its recently-activated Instagram and TikTok accounts.

In a digital letter to Finnish users, Realme describes itself as a young tech brand that was founded in 2018, and that it’s the world’s fastest-growing smartphone brand. The letter also admits that Realme is a part of the Oppo smartphone family, which also includes OnePlus.

Speaking of, reports suggest that OnePlus is shrinking its operation in Europe, which neatly suggests Realme as a possible replacement.

In the same announcement post, Realme confirms that it will launch the Realme GT 8 Pro (dubbed “true flagship killer”), the Realme 16 series, and the Realme C100 5G (the “everyday durable hero”), on Monday, the 18th of May.

Realme’s Instagram posted the news

This isn’t Realme’s first attempt to relaunch in Finland. Local sources report that it’s the maker’s third, but that earlier attempts were met with lackluster interest from local retailers.
