Here's Where to Pick Up the Nintendo Switch 2 Before the Price Goes Up

Nintendo confirmed a price increase for the Switch 2 effective Sept. 1, bringing the base price up by $50 to $500. That means if you’ve been looking to get your hands on one, doing so sooner will cost you less. Though it’s far from a cheap pickup, in terms of value, the Nintendo Switch 2 is bolstered by the fact that it’s still the overall best handheld console on the market right now. It’s thin and light, which makes it eminently portable, and you’ll need one if you want to enjoy tons of exclusive titles like Mario Kart World and Pokopia. We haven’t seen any direct discounts since it first hit shelves last June, but CNET’s shopping experts are still scouring the web for any ways to save.

Big deals are pretty scarce right now. One of the biggest savings is at Best Buy where you can pick up the Switch 2 console and the Mario Kart World bundle and save $60.

We’re tracking these deals as they come and go, as well as where US, Canadian and UK shoppers can find the console and accessories in stock right now.

Availability changes often, though, and we’ll continue to update this page as stocks fluctuate, so be sure to check back often. We’re also keeping track of the accessories you’ll want for your new console, from screen protectors to cameras.
