Deal: the Samsung Galaxy S25+ is 30% off right now on Amazon US

In our head-to-head comparison article, the Samsung Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S26+ traded blows – well, “blows” may be too strong a word considering how similarly the two performed. And as we noted in that article, the older 2025 Plus is cheaper.

Right now, Amazon US has a 256GB Galaxy S25+ at $700 – that’s $300 less than when the phone launched. Meanwhile, the S26+ got a price hike and the 256GB model normally costs $1,100, though that is discounted to a more reasonable $925 at the moment.

Note that since we did our review, one of the differences between the S25+ and S26+ disappeared – Samsung officially rolled out One UI 8.5 to the Galaxy S25 and S24 series. Of course, the newer model will get new software faster (the S26 series can already beta test One UI 9) and it will be supported for a year longer – that said, support for the Galaxy S25+ officially ends in 2032, so that is a long way off.

Also note that we reviewed the global S26+, which uses Exynos 2600, while the US model has a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 compared to Snapdragon 8 Elite (which the S25+ used globally).
