If you’ve been on the fence on pre-ordering the Samsung Galaxy S26 range of smartphones, today will be the last day to score savings and bonuses on the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus and S26 Ultra.

The handsets deliver hardware updates, headlined by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and storage options now start at 256GB for all three models. The Galaxy S26 Ultra also introduces a world-first built-in Privacy Screen, where the display can be dimmed when viewed from the sides to conceal it from onlookers.

Whether you’re looking to buy a new Samsung handset outright (and then pair it with one of our best SIM-only plans), or you’re looking to pay it off through monthly installments through a telco, there’s a pre-order deal just for you.

What are the best outright pre-order deals?

Thanks to an exclusive code from TechRadar, buying direct from Samsung Australia’s online store is where you can get the 1TB/16GB RAM variant of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra for AU$2,499, a saving of AU$450. Use the code S26TECH at checkout to get this exclusive offer.

You’ll also get a AU$300 discount on the 512GB variants of the S26 Ultra, the base Galaxy S26 and the S26 Plus, with all three the same price as the 256GB model after the pre-orders end tomorrow. There’s also an additional AU$50 off your shopping cart if you bundle your handset with the new Galaxy Buds 4 or Buds 4 Pro, or other selected accessories.

Amazon

Amazon is matching the Samsung Store offer of upgraded storage from 256GB to 512GB. But the retailer takes it to a whole new level with an extra AU$300 in savings — if you are an Amazon Prime subscriber, at least. If you’re not, you can sign-up for a free trial.

Interestingly, Amazon is also listing the 256GB version for sale at the same promotional pre-order price as the 512GB, so make sure you select the latter to get the best deal.

It’s also worth noting that this deal has been very popular, with the Galaxy S26 Ultra selling out in both the 512GB and 1TB variants.

JB Hi-Fi

JB Hi-Fi is also offering free storage upgrades across all three devices starting today and up to March 10, 2026, with all three handsets available to purchase from the 512GB version and up.

The retailer is also offering an extra AU$300 off the handset price of the Galaxy S26 range if you trade in your old phone before March 10, as long as your trade in value is determined to be at least AU$1.

The Good Guys

The Good Guys is offering a similar promotion as JB Hi-Fi with the free storage upgrade for every pre-order, but for a few dollars cheaper for each handset. There’s no trade-in offer though, so JB Hi-Fi could be the better option if you want to buy one of the new Galaxy S26 devices from a bricks and mortar store. These offers will run until March 10, 2026.

Want to pay it off monthly through a telco?

Vodafone

Vodafone is discounting the Galaxy S26 lineup up to AU$700 if you sign up for a 24-month or 36-month plan, and is also offering an additional AU$300 off if you trade in a qualifying handset. The discount for the base Galaxy S26 is AU$400 off the handset price, AU$500 off for the S26 Plus, and AU$700 off the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Some customers have received their pre-order units, with Vodafone sending some as early as March 6.

Optus

Optus is also offering similar discounts to Vodafone, but the telco is taking AU$500 off the handset price of both the Galaxy S26 and the S26 Plus if you sign up for a 24- or 36-month plan. The S26 Ultra also gets AU$700 off the phone’s RRP. As an extra sweetener, Optus is also offering a free Galaxy Watch 8 40mm if you sign up to a selected Watch Plan along with any of the three handsets.
