If you’ve been holding off on upgrading to the iPhone 17, waiting for the best offer, consider this T-Mobile deal. Right now, when you bring over your number and open a new line on T-Mobile’s Experience Beyond plan, you can get an iPhone 17 included — no trade-in required. That’s an $830 value.

With the Experience Beyond plan, you’ll pay $100 per month for one line (the price goes down per line the more you add). The monthly price is locked for five years. You’ll also get some extra perks, like Netflix (with ads) and Hulu included, unlimited mobile hotspot, and full-flight texting and Wi-Fi with streaming when available.
As is the case with most “free” phone deals, you’ll pay taxes on the full price of the phone up front, along with a one-time $35 device connection fee, and your first monthly $100 charge for service. The rest of the cost of the phone will be paid out via 24 monthly bill credits. However, if you cancel before the 24 months is up, you will have to pay for the remainder of the price of the phone. The bill credits also end if you pay off your phone early.
Other terms: You’ll have to enroll in AutoPay, port-in your number from an eligible carrier (AT&T, Verizon, Claro, UScellular, Xfinity, Spectrum, and Liberty PR only), and add a new line. Good credit is required as well. If you’ve cancelled lines in past 90 days, you may need to reactivate them first.
If you’re already a T-Mobile customer, you can still take advantage of this deal by switching to Go5G Next.
Don’t miss this T-Mobile deal that gets you an iPhone 17 with your Experience Beyond plan while it lasts.
How I rated this deal
While this phone deal comes with caveats, it’s still a pretty good one, considering you don’t pay up front for the price of the phone, just the taxes, activation fee, and monthly service. If you’re looking to switch to T-Mobile and upgrade to the iPhone 17, this is a good time to do so.
