Instagram has announced a new feature that finally lets users edit comments after posting, with the caveat that users only have a 15-minute window to do so. After that, they cannot edit their comments.
Another catch is you can only edit the text in the comments, so, for instance, if a comment has both text and a photo, you can only edit the text.

However, on the plus side, there’s no limit to the number of times you can edit a comment on Instagram within 15 minutes of posting it. But it’s worth noting that once a comment is edited, other Instagram users will know that it’s edited, as an “Edited” label will be displayed for edited comments. They won’t be able to see the version history, though.
