Nothing has new over-ear headphones on the market, and they make the already aggressively-priced Nothing Headphone (1) seem overpriced. At £149 / $199 / €159, you’re getting a lot for not a lot. Let’s see the box.
The Nothing Headphone (a) ships with a simple carrying bag, a USB-C cable, and a 3.5mm cable. The bag isn’t padded, so it won’t protect the headphones from damage, but you’ve gotta cut some corners to get a great deal.

The Headphone (a) packs 40mm titanium-coated drivers, has three-level ANC, LDAC support, and a Hi-Resolution Audio Wireless certification.
On the outside, the headphones look similar to their more expensive peers, the Headphone (1), which is no bad thing. You can customize them with different colored cups, while the headphones themselves come in white or black.
The physical controls (Roller, Paddle, and Button) are very expansive – you can customize them through Nothing’s X app to do loads of cool stuff (even as a remote shutter for your smartphone camera).
What’s most impressive is the battery rundown – the Headphone (a) claims up to 135 hours of use! To put that into perspective, the Headphone (1) claimed up to 80 hours!
Physical controls that don’t suck
We like the feel of the Headphone (a). The memory foam cushions are really comfortable. This editor didn’t feel any ear discomfort on his non-compact head after more than an hour of these bad boys on!
