First up, Google itself is offering a £100 bonus on top of the usual trade-in rebates, meaning a discount of up to £395 on the device. Considering the Pixel 10a comes in at a relatively affordable £499 upfront, you’re potentially getting an unlocked device for just over £100 with the maximum rebate.

Those trade-in rebates are mirrored at the major networks this week, too. Three, Vodafone, and EE all have trade discounts ranging from £120 to £300 right now. The main promotions at these carriers, however, are the further discounts you can get on the attached plans, which reach up to £20 off per month.

As an overview, the Pixel 10a’s main selling point is definitely its slimline design without the usual camera hump. Unlike nearly every other modern device, the 48MP rear camera sits flush with the rest of the body, giving the device a nice minimalist look.

Even though Google has taken a new direction with the Pixel 10a’s design, internally, the device still retains the Tensor G4 chipset from the previous generation. If you don’t need power on tap, however, then the G4 is still serviceable enough, with support for all the most useful Gemini features. You’ll also benefit from a surprisingly large battery and Google’s typically strong (and easy-to-use) camera tech.
