iQOO will launch the iQOO 15R in India soon. The brand gave us a glimpse of 15R’s design but hasn’t divulged any specs yet. However, thanks to Geekbench, we know what chipset the iQOO 15R will have under the hood.
The iQOO 15R, having model code I2508, is listed on the Geekbench database with an octa-core CPU with two cores clocked at 3.8GHz and six cores clocked at 3.32GHz. The listing also mentions Adreno 829. This suggests the iQOO 15R is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC.

The iQOO 15R unit that ran Geekbench was running Android 16 and had 8GB of RAM onboard. However, there will likely be more RAM options that we are unaware of. Regarding performance, the iQOO 15R scored 2,590 and 8,423 points in Geekbench’s single and multi-core tests, respectively. In the GPU test, it achieved a score of 21,075.

The iQOO 15R is advertised as a smartphone that will offer “Power-packed performance with a perfect fit.” Rumors claim it’s a version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which was launched in China last week.

If that’s true, the iQOO 15R will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, OriginOS 6, and a 6.59″ 144Hz 1,260p AMOLED display. It will feature a 32MP camera on the front, while the dual-camera setup on the rear will comprise a 200MP primary and an 8MP ultrawide camera.
