This year’s MWC Barcelona is taking place at the beginning of March, and Honor already confirmed its presence with a dedicated event, which will see the debuts of the Magic V6 foldable and the Honor Robot Phone.
Honor’s launch event is set to take place on March 1 at the Palau de Congressos de Barcelona and will start at 1PM CET time.
Honor Magic V5
Magic V6 is expected to launch with a sizeable battery upgrade over its predecessor. According to the latest rumor, the foldable will bring a Si/C battery cell with a capacity in the 7,000 mAh range. The device is also expected to feature Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and a 200MP primary camera.
Alongside the flagship foldable, Honor will also showcase its Robot Phone. This is the long-teased concept smartphone with a gimbal camera attached to its robotic arm. Honor will finally detail its exact specs and AI-powered features, which are part of its Alpha plan.
Honor Robot Phone
The device features a retractable 3-axis gimbal that allows it to track and interact with moving objects. We got a preview of the Robot Phone at CES, which left us intrigued, so we’ll be patiently waiting to see its launch.
