Oppo already launched the Reno15 and Reno15 Pro in China, but we’ve been hearing a lot of rumors about a Reno15 Pro Max as well, and that one still isn’t official. That could change soon, as it may have been spotted in the Geekbench database with the model number CPH2811.
It is powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC as the Reno15 and Reno15 Pro, and in the specific prototype which ran the benchmark this was paired with 12GB of RAM. The phone will run Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top from day one.

It’s unclear what’s going on here, perhaps the Reno15 Pro Max will only be launched in global markets – otherwise why not announce it alongside the other two in China? To add even more confusion, back in late October one rumor told us that the Reno15 Pro Max would stay confined to the Chinese market. Except the model numbers that start with “CPH” in Oppo’s nomenclature are those intended for markets other than China.
The Pro Max was rumored to come with the same specs that the Reno15 Pro ended up launching with, aside from the chipset (it was supposedly getting the Dimensity 9400), so the situation is getting even more confusing. We’ll let you know when we find out more.
