The Galaxy A37 and A57 are expected to drop next month, and usually, the current models become more affordable. However, according to the latest tip, the company is planning to hike the prices of Galaxy A models in India by around INR 1,000.

The Galaxy A56, on the other hand, will see its price go up by INR 2,000. The new prices will go into effect next week as early as Monday.
The most probable reason for the price hikes is the cost of memory chips. You’ve probably already seen the memes online. They are all about a shortage in the memory segment due to soaring demand for HBM and DDR5 DRAM chips, which are essential for AI datacenters.
If this is indeed the reason for the Galaxy A price increases, it will come as no surprise if other manufacturers follow suit and ramp up prices as well. In fact, we’ve already seen some higher-end phones launch with a higher price tag compared to their predecessors like the OnePlus 15, Poco F8 series, the vivo X300 series and the iQOO 15.
