Verizon has already launched two waves of early deals ahead of Black Friday, so I wouldn’t expect too much more at this point. Deals like the current promotion on the iPhone 17 Pro Max are already the best we’ve seen from the carrier in 2025, so it’s doubtful that it will launch an even better option.
With that said, you never know. Stock on the latest iPhone 17 range is pretty good at the moment, so there’s really no rush if you’re willing to wait it out until Black Friday itself.

Unfortunately, there are no real surprises when it comes to Verizon Black Friday deals. As with the carrier’s promotions at other times of the year, the biggest discounts will be reserved for those who sign up for one of the carrier’s priciest unlimited plans.
You may also, depending on the various T&Cs, have to trade in an old device to be eligible for a discount. In recent years, Verizon and other carriers have been a lot less strict on the criteria, however, so your mileage may vary when it comes to this year’s Black Friday deals at the carrier.
For example, last year, Verizon offered the excellent iPhone 16 Pro for free without even having to trade in. Recently, the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 have both been free under similar criteria too, so there is precedent for excellent promotions that don’t require the usual trade-in.
