One UI 8 stable update is now rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G

The Samsung Galaxy A26 recently received the Android 16-based One UI 8 stable update, which is now rolling out for the Galaxy A17 5G.

The update comes with firmware version A176BXXU2BYID and September 2025 Android security patch, in addition to bringing the One UI 8 goodies to the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G.

Samsung is currently rolling out the One UI 8 stable update for the Galaxy A17 5G in Vietnam, but it should be released in other regions soon.

If you live in Vietnam and haven’t received the stable One UI 8 on your Galaxy A17 5G yet, you can check for it manually by heading to the phone’s Settings > Software update menu.
