In a short press release Realme promised to be among the first to deliver Android 16 to its flagship lineup. Of course, it’s no surprise that the GT 7 series will be the first phones from Realme’s portfolio to get the latest and greatest from Google.

The Realme GT 7 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite, in particular, will be the first phone to get Realme UI 7 based on Android 16. The Realme GT 7 and GT 7T, running on Dimensity 9400e and Dimensity 8400, are expected to receive Android 16 shortly after.
Soon after Realme completes the update cycle for the Realme GT 7 family, the company will focus on the Realme GT 6 lineup, with the GT 6 and GT 6T first in line from the series.
Unfortunately, Realme didn’t share a release schedule but promised to provide one sometime this fall.
