There have been several rumors recently suggesting that Redmi is developing a gaming tablet. Some key specifications have also been hinted at. Now, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has shared important insights about the upcoming device on his Weibo account. Let’s take a closer look at what we know so far.
Redmi gaming tablet’s specifications tipped
As per the tipster, the upcoming ‘LCD’ gaming tablet will be equipped with a dual X-axis linear motor. Sure, this will be for improved haptics but it will be also used to provide haptic-supported gaming experience. The device will also have dual USB Type-C port. We have had a lot of gaming smartphones in the past with the support of dual Type-C port. This allows the device have more versatile connectivity.
The tipster also says that the Redmi gaming tablet will pack a dual speaker setup. This is common among the smartphones and tablets. Dual speakers help create a surround sound environment and therefore helping in games, especially in battle royale and FPS games. Per the tipster, the device is scheduled to debut officially in the Q3 (July-Sep) this year.
Previous rumours reveal that the Redmi gaming tablet will pack an 8.8-inch LCD screen with the support of high refresh rate. The gadget is said to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ flagship chipset. It will get a metal unibody design with lightweight and durable build.
