ZTE has a successor for its nubia Music with the aptly named nubia Music 2. This quirky budget smartphone features similar looks to its predecessor, with a clear focus on media playback and a few minor upgrades.
The main attraction is the 2.1-channel audio system consisting of three full-range speakers. The DTS:X Ultra setup is rated at a maximum volume of 95dB and features support for spatial audio. The new bit for this year is the added LED strips, which pulsate alongside your tunes.
Last year’s nubia Music had a remarkable feature with two 3.5mm headphone jacks placed next to each other on the phone’s top side. Unfortunately, Music 2 only comes with a single headphone jack.

Music 2 also gets a 6.7-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is equipped with a Unisoc T7200 chipset, which may sound new, but it is just a rebrand of the Unisoc T606. The SoC is paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The back houses a 50MP main cam while the battery comes in at 5,000 mAh and supports 10W charging.
