Xiaomi had recently launched its Redmi Turbo 4 smartphone in mainland China. The device is also rumoured to land in the global market as POCO X7 Pro. The device is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset. While the firm tried its best to assure the users that the chipset is indeed powerful, there was no Benchmark data to back the claim. However, we now have its official Benchmark scores which reveals something surprising.
Redmi Turbo 4’s MediaTek Dimensity 8400 outshines others
As per a new benchmark results shared by @TECHINFOSOCIALS, the Redmi Turbo 4’s Dimensity 8400 chipset scores whopping 1,799,330 points. On the other hand, its rival, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 scores 1,654,675 and the Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 scores 1,497,646 points. This clearly shows that MediaTek is powerful powerful than the Snapdragon counterpart, atleast in terms on Benchmark.
Going further, the 3DMark’s Wildlife Extreme Test reveals that Dimensity 8400 scores 4,086 points, while the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 gets 3161 points. On AnTuTU GPU test, the Redmi again gets an upper hand with the highest score of 658,114 points. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and 7+ Gen 3, on the other hand, gets 506,197 and 472,913 scores respectively.

That’s not all. In Geekbench 6, the Dimensity 8400 gets a single-core score of 1639 and multi-core score of 6500. This is again more powerful than the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 3 and 7+ Gen3.
Based on these scores, it would be safe to say that the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset is certainly more powerful than the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and 7+ Gen 3. This is kind of shocking us we all were expecting it to compete with the Snapdragon 7-series chipset.
