OnePlus’ Ace 5 family is going to grow soon. Currently it comprises the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro, but there’s also an Ace 5V coming as the successor to the Ace 3V launched back in March.
The Ace 5V will reportedly use MediaTek’s yet-unannounced Dimensity 9350 SoC, which apparently can be thought of as “Dimensity 9300++” in the words of prolific Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station.

This SoC will be released to compete head-on with the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite, the successor to the 8s Gen 3. The Dimensity 9350 allegedly brings some minor performance improvements compared to the 9300, as well as a bit lower power consumption.
The OnePlus Ace 5V will also have a “1.5K” resolution flat screen with small bezels and a 7,000 mAh battery. It’s unclear exactly when the Ace 5V will be made official, but we assume we are still quite a few weeks away from that moment, so plenty more details about it can surface in the meantime. We’ll keep you posted.
Interestingly, the OnePlus Ace 3V got rebranded (and slightly modified) for international markets as the OnePlus Nord 4, and that makes us think that the Ace 5V could very well launch globally as the Nord 5.
