Xiaomi’s next generation of foldable devices are in development. This year Xiaomi introduced two foldable flagships Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip, where Mix Flip was released globally as well. It is reported that the sales of Mix Flip has been so strong both in the Chinese as well as Global market that its next iteration is ahead of schedule.
Famous Chinese Blogger Digital Chat Station said that Xiaomi will release Mix Flip 2 in the first half of 2025. This early launch is because of the strong sales of Mix Flip. The Mix Flip 2 will be equipped with the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The foldable device will have dual rear cameras with a telephoto sensor. The cameras will be co-engineered with Leica. The battery capacity is likely to be around 5500mah capacity with fast 90W wired charging.
There is currently no confirmed information regarding the exact launch timeline of this smartphone but we can expect it to get released in May,2025. The global launch is also planned.
