The “Redmi Note 14 5G series” has had an official launch date for India since November, but so far the brand has only teased the Redmi Note 14 Pro and the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. Today it’s also confirmed that the ‘vanilla’ Redmi Note 14 will in fact join those two at the December 9 launch.
Redmi’s arm in India has now put up to microsites teasing the launch of the Redmi Note 14, one on its own website, the other on Amazon – which also confirms that it will be available to buy from Amazon.
The Indian Redmi Note 14 is confirmed to have a 50 MP main camera with OIS, using Sony’s Lytia LYT-600 sensor, and a display that “shines brighter than ever”. The images do seem to show a device that’s identical to the Chinese model bearing the same name, and that’s not always a given with Xiaomi brands.
If that’s the case, then expect the Indian Redmi Note 14 to also feature a 6.67-inch 1080×2400 120 Hz OLED screen with 2,100-nit peak brightness, the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC at the helm, 6/8/12GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, a 2 MP macro camera on the back next to that 50 MP main sensor, a 16 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,110 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging.
