Xiaomi’s Sub-brand Redmi has launched its most popular Redmi Note 14 Series in China. This includes base Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro and top model Redmi Note 14 Pro+. The smartphones have brought some very impressive specifications in the midrange market.
Key Specifications
Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ both feature a 6.67 inch 12 bit 1.5K 120Hz OLED curved display with 3000 nits peak brightness. The display also supports PWM dimming at 1920hz for better eye protection. The display of both the smartphones is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Redmi Note 14 Pro offers a 50MP LYT 600 1/1.98 inch OIS + 8MP Ultrawide + 2MP macro camera. Whereas the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ offers a 50MP Light Hunter 800 1/1.56 inch OIS main + 8MP Ultrawide + 50MP JN1 2.5x Telephoto camera. It can be seen that the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ camera has a major upgrade over the previous generation.
Redmi Note 14 Pro features a Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor with a big 5500mAh battery and 45W fast charging whereas the Pro+ features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 with a ultra large 6200mAh battery and 90W charging. Another highlighting feature of two smartphones are water and dust proof specifications. The Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ offers IP66, IP68 and IP69 waterproofing certification. The back panel of Note 14 Pro+ is Gorilla Glass 7 whereas the Pro has a plastic back cover. Both the smartphones feature a plastic frame. Other specifications include LPDDR5 ram support and a UFS 3.1 storage.
Redmi has also released the base Redmi Note 14 with Mediatek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chip. The smartphone also features a 6.67 inch 120hz OLED display. It supports dual camera setup with primary 50MP Sony LYT 600 OIS and a 2MP macro. The battery is also big at 5110mah capacity and a 45W fast charging. The smartphone also comes with IP64 certification.
