Apple promotes Labrinth stream just ahead of OLED MacBook Pro release

Apple will be holding a special stream with musician Labrinth on November 4, in a "Live on Mac" performance.

When you hear of Apple holding a stream with a musical artist, it's usually under the purview of Apple Music. However, one online event Apple is promoting seems to be all about the music creation process itself.

In a TikTok post on November 2, a video shows a white box slid into frame, complete with the label "Do not touch until 11.04.26." A hand comes in from one side, scrawling "For Labrinth" on the top, before hauling it away.

The post itself includes the date as well as the time of 8pm PST, as well as mentioning it will be "Live on YouTube" with the link in the TikTok account's bio.

That link takes you to the YouTube page for an upcoming stream on Labrinth's YouTube account, with an image showing "Labrinth Live on Mac" with the date and time. The description for the stream says he will be "Experimenting with some new ways of making music."

Given the release date of the new MacBook Pro with PROLED display is for November 6, it's almost certainly going to be a stream promoting the new touchscreen, and maybe Logic enhancements, especially considering the size of the TikTok video's package.
