I found the absolute best Black Friday streaming service and device deals

Whether you’re looking to cut the cable cord or add a new streaming service and a fresh crop of shows, movies, music, or audiobooks into your rotation, the holiday shopping season is a great time to do so. During the Black Friday sales window we’re now in, we typically see some of the lowest prices of the year on popular streaming services.

Also: Our favorite Black Friday deals live now

These streaming Black Friday deals are some of the best we’ve seen all year (particularly the Disney+ and Hulu bundle for $4.99 a month for a year), but make sure you read the fine print: Some are only open to new or returning subscribers, and others are for ad-supported plans, not ad-free ones. Still, they’re all worth checking out.

Also worth considering: When you subscribe to Walmart+ (currently 50% off), you get your choice of Paramount+ or Peacock included, and when you subscribe to Amazon Prime, you get Prime Video and Amazon Music (don’t forget that if you’re age 18-24, you can get a 6-month free trial and then pay half the regular price for a Prime for Young Adults membership).

I’ve been reviewing streaming services for ZDNET and our sister site CNET for years, and these are my picks for the best Black Friday streaming deals so far.

  • Current price: $4.99/month for 12 months (ad-supported plans)
  • Original price: $12.99/month

With this deal, you can bundle Disney+ and Hulu for just $4.99 per month for the first year, down from the usual bundle price of $12.99 per month. This offer is for the ad-supported plans on both services only, and for both new and eligible returning subscribers (if you already bundle Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN, you aren’t eligible). Your account will auto-renew at the original price of $12.99 after a year, unless you cancel beforehand. This deal runs through Dec. 1 for US residents only.

Also: Disney+ and Hulu bundled for $5 a month might be my favorite Black Friday streaming deal

After that, you’ll get charged the regular amount unless you cancel beforehand. This deal is for both new and existing subscribers, and ends on Dec. 2.

When is Black Friday?

This year, Black Friday is Friday, Nov. 28, 2025 — the day after Thanksgiving. Cyber Monday is Monday, Dec. 1, 2025.

Are streaming services really cheaper during Black Friday?

Often, yes. In recent years, we’ve seen the lowest prices of the year for subscriptions to Hulu, Paramount+, and more during Black Friday week. We’ve also seen some of the lowest prices of the year on streaming accessories, like

How did we choose these Black Friday deals?

ZDNET only writes about deals we want to buy — services, devices, and products we desire, need, or would recommend. Our experts looked for deals that were at least 20% off (or are hardly ever on sale), using established price comparison tools and trackers to determine whether the deal is actually on sale and how frequently it drops.

We also looked over customer reviews to find out what matters to real people who already own and use the deals we’re recommending. Our recommendations may also be based on our own testing — in addition to extensive research and comparison shopping. The goal is to deliver the most accurate advice to help you shop smarter.
