As someone who charges phones, watches, and earbuds, the idea of running three separate cables to do so gives me the willies. Having that many cables on my nightstand is too messy, tends to become a tangled mess, and isn’t exactly an efficient way to charge those devices.
So, when a company reached out about a tiny, foldable stand, I was all ears.
The stand in question is the Ku Xiu Foldable 3-in-1 charging station that is available on Amazon for both Android and iOS devices for $70.

After using cheap plastic charging stations that were in no way dependable, I can say this small charge is worth every penny.

My experience
I received charging stations for both Android and iPhone, but was only able to test the Android version (as I don’t own an iPhone).

When I received the device, I was stunned at how small the box was. Then I pulled out the stand and realized why the box was so tiny.
The Ku Xiu stand folds in such a way that it fits in the palm of your hand. It’s also heavy, because it’s made of metal. Additionally, the bottom of the stand features a non-slip surface, ensuring it stays in place without risk of accidental removal from your nightstand or desk.
Both the Android and iPhone versions of this stand use MagSafe technology to attach the phone to the charger. If you’re an Android user, you’ll need a case that supports MagSafe devices; otherwise, you’ll likely be frustrated with the stand.

I have a MagSafe case for my Pixel 9 Pro, so it worked perfectly.
The first thing I noticed about the stand is how strong the magnet is. Once you plug your phone into the charger, you’ll need to grab both the phone and the stand to separate them. That’s a good thing, because it means your phone will not fall off. Given its small size, I was surprised by the strength of the connection.
What really took me by surprise was how fast the Ku Xiu stand charged both my phone and watch. This stand supports 15W Fast Charging, so it can fully power a phone in approximately 2-3 hours. The same principle applies to a watch.
My old charger took exponentially more time to charge both (especially the watch).

The Ku Xiu is also very good at making the connection with a Pixel Watch. Lay the watch on the fold-out charging platform, and it instantly starts charging. With my old stand, I would sometimes have to fiddle with the watch placement to get it to charge.
As for the hinges, they are built to last. There’s plenty of resistance, so once you unfold the stand, it’ll stay in place unless you reposition it.
I’ve been using the Ku Xiu 3-in-1 foldable charging stand for about 2 weeks now, and it has performed flawlessly. Additionally, it’s not too bad to look at. It’s modern, sleek, and minimal (right up my alley).
Honestly, I cannot find a single issue with this stand. It works brilliantly, is solid and well-built, easy to use, and reliable.
