Vivo has confirmed that its upcoming Y600 smartphone will launch in China next week, with a massive 10,000mAh battery as its biggest highlight. The company has also revealed the phone’s design ahead of its debut, showing a square-shaped rear camera module and two colour options.
The Vivo Y600 will launch in China on October 30, 2026, while pre-orders are scheduled to begin on October 26. The company has not yet confirmed India availability.
Vivo Y600 Design Revealed
Vivo has shared images of the Y600 in white and blue colour options. The smartphone features flat edges, with the power button and volume keys placed on the right side. At the back, it has a square-shaped camera module surrounded by a gold-coloured border.
The design appears similar to the Vivo S2 FE, which launched in India earlier this month. This has fuelled speculation that the Vivo Y600 could be a rebranded version of the S2 FE for the Chinese market. However, Vivo has not officially confirmed any connection between the two smartphones.
Vivo Y600 Specifications And Features
The Vivo Y600’s main selling point is its 10,000mAh battery. Vivo claims that the smartphone set a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous livestream test, lasting 32 hours and 37 minutes. While this is an impressive claim, actual battery life will depend on factors such as screen brightness, network conditions and usage.
Based on its battery capacity, the Y600 could offer extended usage between charges. However, real-world testing will be needed to determine how long it lasts with everyday activities such as video streaming, gaming, browsing and calls.
Other specifications have not been officially confirmed yet. Reports suggest that the smartphone could use the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset and feature a 50MP rear camera. It is also tipped to come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
These reported specifications are similar to those of the Vivo S2 FE, adding to the possibility that the two phones could share much of their hardware. However, buyers should wait for the official launch before treating these details as final.
