iQOO 15T arrives with Dimensity 9500 Monster chip, 8,000mAh battery and 200MP main cam

The iQOO 15T arrives on the scene as the first T-series device from the brand. It gets a different chip compared to the regular iQOO 15 and Ultra models, replacing the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 “Monster Edition” SoC.

iQOO 15T is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition chip

This is a custom version of the regular 9500 with improved frame-rate stability thanks to iQOO’s in-house Q3 gaming chip. The phone is configurable with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.

The front is dominated by a 6.82-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED display with 2K resolution (3,168 × 1,440px) and a fast 144Hz refresh rate. The panel gets 4,500 nits peak local brightness, an integrated 16MP front-facing camera and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

And while the 15T is mostly centered around gaming, it’s also the first phone from the brand to feature a 200MP main camera. It’s using a 1/1.56” sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS. The second shooter around the back is a 50MP ultrawide lens.

The other standout feature is the 8,000mAh Si-C battery, which supports blazing fast 100W wired charging. Wireless charging did not make the cut, but the 15T does bring IP68 and IP69 ingress protection. The software side is covered by OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
