Yesterday, RedMagic unveiled the 11S Pro and 11S Pro+ gaming smartphones for the Chinese market, and in light of that you may have been wondering when to expect an international launch. RedMagic is usually quite quick to bring its devices to global markets, and the situation is similar in this case.
The brand has just revealed that the global launch will be taking place on May 27 at 8 AM EDT, which is 1 PM in London, 2 PM in Central Europe, 3 PM in Eastern Europe, and 5:30 PM in India.
It appears as if only one device is making the international trip. This will be called RedMagic 11S Pro according to the teaser site the brand has put up. It will have a 7,500 mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 80W wireless charging, which is where it differs from both Chinese models – the Chinese 11S Pro has an 8,000 mAh battery with 80W wired charging only, while the Chinese 11S Pro+ has a 7,500 mAh battery with 120W wired and 80W wireless charging.
The rest of the specs should be shared between the three handsets, so the global device should also have the same 6.85-inch AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate and 1,800-nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 “Leading Version” SoC, 12/16GB of RAM, 256/512GB of storage, a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 16MP selfie snapper.
