Back at MWC Barcelona, Lenovo unveiled several new tablets, including the gamer-focused Legion Tab Gen 5, aka Legion Y700 Gen 5 in China. That device has now made its way to the US with a starting price of $850 in its Eclipse Black colorway. That price gets you the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage trim.
Comparing the Legion Tab Gen 5’s US price with the EU starting price for the same RAM/storage trim €900/£699 shows the US model is a slightly better deal but it is far from a bargain. Deliveries from Lenovo US are scheduled for May 11
Legion Tab Gen 5 brings a flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip alongside an 8.8-inch IPS LCD (3K+165Hz), a 9,000 mAh battery and dual USB-C ports. We got the chance to go hands-on with the Tab Gen 5 at MWC, and you can check out our first impressions here.
