Oppo Find N6 review

Introduction

You can say we have been waiting for the new Oppo Find foldable eagerly, as we wanted to witness what’s next after the pinnacle of foldable tech that the Find N5 was. And, the wait was well worth it, as the Oppo Find N6 premieres with a fully crease-less design thanks to a next-gen hinge.

The Find 6 brings two meaningful upgrades to the foldable space – the Find N6 has a crease-less inner display, and it is IP5-rated for dust resistance.

Find N6 remains as thin as Find N5, meaning it’s still one of the most impressive tablet-like foldables on the market.

The new model has an 8.12-inch foldable LTPO OLED as a centerpiece, the same size and resolution as the Find N5’s. It has been updated with higher max brightness, and it still supports 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision streaming.

The cover screen remains the same 6.62-inch LTPO OLED as before, with similar capabilities as the inner one, and it also gets the max brightness boost.

The Find N6 features the full-fledged Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip with UFS 4.1 storage, a notable update from the downscaled version of the OG Elite inside the N5.

The camera department gets a refresh too – the main camera unit now features a 200MP sensor, there is a 50MP telephoto/macro with 3x magnification, and a new 50MP ultrawide camera with autofocus. The cover and the inner selfie cameras are now 20MP, but their focus is still fixed at infinity.

Finally, the Oppo Find N6 brings a larger 6000mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

Unboxing the Oppo Find N6

Our Oppo Find N6 arrived in a large gray box that contained the phone, an 80W SuperVOOC power adapter, and a USB-A-to-C cable.

The retail box also packs a two-piece carbon case, where the front piece attaches with an adhesive.

We also received the Oppo AI Pen kit. It contains a gray plastic case with a special charging cradle for the Oppo Pen. There are two spare pen tips, too.

The pen can be used on both displays. It’s got it in the name, so you can bet the AI Pen has a host of smart features too.
