Apple introduces Creator Studio, a subscription bundle of its best creative apps

Today Apple is introducing a new app bundle. It’s called Creator Studio and for a fixed monthly or yearly fee, you get access to a bunch of creative apps: Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro on Macs and iPads, as well as Motion, Compressor, and MainStage on Macs. There are also intelligent features and premium content in Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and, coming later, Freeform on iPhones, iPads, and Macs.

And all of this for $12.99 per month or $129 per year, with a free one-month trial. For college students and educators, the price is $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year. The Creator Studio bundle will become available on January 28.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, said:

Apple Creator Studio is a great value that enables creators of all types to pursue their craft and grow their skills by providing easy access to the most powerful and intuitive tools for video editing, music making, creative imaging, and visual productivity — all leveled up with advanced intelligent tools to augment and accelerate workflows. There’s never been a more flexible and accessible way to get started with such a powerful collection of creative apps for professionals, emerging artists, entrepreneurs, students, and educators to do their best work and explore their creative interests from start to finish.
