Honor is gearing up to launch a new member of its Magic8 series, and we finally have some actual images of its rumored Air smartphone.
Honor Magic8 Pro Air and its key specs
According to several posts on Weibo, the device will be called Magic8 Pro Air. Honor previously teased an upcoming phone that would feature “both Pro and Air features” and we now get some additional spec details as well as actual images of the device.
Magic8 Pro Air will be 6.1mm thick and weigh 155 grams, as per a leaked product page. The device will feature a peculiar camera visor on the back, which sticks out from the phone and incorporates three cameras. It looks like a mix between the iPhone Air and the Pixel 7 Pro’s visor, but with the sensors spaced in reverse order.
Magic8 Pro Air color options
The main cam is expected to be a 50MP shooter with a 1/1.3-inch sensor just like the Magic 8 Pro, but we don’t get details for the remaining two sensors. The new info also confirms the device will feature a 5,500mAh battery with silicon-carbon anode tech and 80W charging.
Based on previous info, Magic8 Pro Air will get a 6.3-inch AMOLED display and MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset. The phone is rumored to launch in China later this month and will be available in a wide range of colors including black, white, purple and orange.
