The OnePlus 15R was unveiled in global markets yesterday with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC and a 7,400mAh battery. While it is offered in two color options globally, the Indian market gets a distinct Ace Edition finished in a purple shade.
In markets outside India, the phone is sold in Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze. For India, the company also offers the OnePlus 15R Ace Edition, featuring an exclusive Electric Violet finish, a fiberglass rear panel, and ‘Ace’ branding etched on the back.
The OnePlus 15R is essentially a rebranded OnePlus Ace 6T, which is sold in China in the same Electric Violet color with the Ace branding on the rear panel. However, the Ace 6T gets a larger 8,300mAh battery.
In terms of specifications, there is no difference between the Ace Edition and the other OnePlus 15R color variants, except for weight and thickness. The Electric Violet variant weighs 213g, compared to 218g or 219g for the other options, and is 8.1mm thick instead of 8.3mm.
The OnePlus 15R Ace Edition starts at INR 47,999 ($530) for the 12GB/256GB option. It runs Android 16-based OxygenOS 16, offers a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate, a dual-rear camera setup with a 50MP primary Sony IMX906 sensor, and a 32MP front camera.
