The Lava Play Max is aimed at the “modern youth who juggle studies, social media, entertainment and gaming.” It’s powered by the Dimensity 7300 SoC, runs “clean Android 15” for a bloat-free experience, and comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is expandable by up to 1TB.

The Lava Play Max also features VC cooling, which, Lava claims, provides “consistent performance without heating during long gaming sessions on titles like COD Mobile, Free Fire, BGMI and others.”

The Play Max is built around a 6.72″ FullHD+ 120Hz display and packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging support. The smartphone has an 8MP selfie camera on the front and a 50MP primary camera on the rear with EIS and 4K@30fps video recording.

The Lava Play Max is IP54-rated and comes in Deccan Black and Himalayan White colors with two memory options – 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB, priced at INR12,999 ($145/€125) and INR14,999 ($165/€145), respectively.

The Play Max will go on sale in India this month, but Lava didn’t reveal exactly when. However, the Indian handset maker said that the Play Max will come with its “Free Service @ Home” support.
