Verizon just dropped a surprise deal on the iPhone 17 Pro today. Doubly surprising because we thought the carrier had already spoiled us with its excellent range of Black Friday deals last week.
Right now, no trade-ins are needed at all to get four iPhone 17 Pros for free alongside the carrier’s Welcome Unlimited plan. That’s four devices on a plan that costs just $100 per month in total – averaging out at just $25/mo per line.

Better than Verizon’s Black Friday deals?
Verizon’s best iPhone deal last week was a free iPhone 17 Pro Max on either a Plus or Ultimate unlimited plan. In comparison, today’s deal also gets you the slightly cheaper iPhone 17 Pro for free without a trade-in, but with the option to include it with the entry-level Welcome plan. In short, it’s a slightly cheaper deal overall and arguably one that’s better value for most people.
Right now, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is $5/mo alongside a Plus or Ultimate plan, so today’s deal on the standard iPhone 17 Pro seems like a no-brainer to me. The Pro Max deal was a fantastic value last week over Black Friday, but now that it’s no longer free I’d personally go all-in on the iPhone 17 Pro deal at Verizon today.
