Here are four hints for the groupings in today’s Connections puzzle, ranked from the easiest yellow group, to the tough (and sometimes bizarre) purple group.

Yellow group hint: Big trip.

Green group hint: Means a lot to someone.

Blue group hint: Sometimes a vowel.

Purple group hint: 11th letter of the alphabet and — oh, never mind, this one’s a real stumper.
