OnePlus Watch 3 will have a bigger battery in a thinner body

The OnePlus Watch 2 was announced back in February, followed by the cheaper but almost identical OnePlus Watch 2R during the summer. Now, the company is working on the OnePlus Watch 3, and it’s already passed through the FCC.

The certification has revealed the fact that the next OnePlus wearable has a huge 648 mAh battery, which is 29.6% larger than the OnePlus Watch 2’s 500 mAh cell. That watch already had outstanding battery life by Wear OS standards, and its successor looks set to improve even more in this area.

The OnePlus Watch 3 measures 47.6 x 46.6 x 11.75 mm, which means it’s 0.35 mm thinner than its predecessor. That’s impressive considering the increased battery capacity.

The new watch unsurprisingly supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and NFC. It may become official internationally next month alongside the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R, the launch of which has already been confirmed by the brand.
