Honor has quietly introduced the Honor X8e 4G, a new smartphone in its X series. The device focuses on battery life, durability, and everyday performance. It also features a 120Hz display, a 108MP main camera, and a large 7,700mAh battery.
The smartphone runs Android 16 with MagicOS 10 and includes several AI-powered features. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Honor X8e 4G Specs and Features
The Honor X8e 4G features a 6.87-inch TFT LCD with an HD+ resolution of 1,592 x 720 pixels. Its 120Hz refresh rate is designed to provide smoother scrolling and animations, while peak brightness reaches 1,020 nits.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 processor paired with an Adreno 610 GPU. It offers 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Honor’s RAM Turbo technology also provides a virtual memory experience equivalent to 8GB of RAM, according to the company.
The device runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. Its software includes AI tools intended to make everyday tasks easier.
108MP Main Camera
The Honor X8e 4G comes with a 108MP primary rear camera featuring an f/1.75 aperture, alongside an auxiliary lens. The camera supports video recording at up to 1080p and offers up to 8x digital zoom.
For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 5MP front-facing camera. Honor has also added its AI Image to Video 2.0 feature, which uses artificial intelligence to turn images into video content.
Another addition is a dedicated AI button that provides quick access to supported tools. Other features include NFC and dual Nano-SIM support.
For connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G networks, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2. It does not offer 5G connectivity.
7,700mAh Battery With 45W Charging
Battery capacity is one of the main highlights of the Honor X8e 4G. The device packs a 7,700mAh battery, which should provide substantial capacity for everyday use, although actual battery life will depend on usage patterns.
The phone supports 45W Honor SuperCharge wired charging. This allows users to recharge the large battery using a compatible fast charger.
The device measures 168.3 x 78.54 x 8.3mm and weighs 218.5 grams. Its relatively large battery contributes to its overall size and weight.
Water Resistance and Durability
Honor has equipped the X8e 4G with IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for protection against dust and water under specified testing conditions.
The company also claims that the handset can withstand drops from heights of up to 2.5 metres under controlled laboratory conditions. The device carries SGS Premium Performance certification for drop and crush resistance.
However, water and dust resistance are not permanent and may decrease with regular use, accidental damage or wear. Users should follow the manufacturer’s guidelines when handling the device around water.
Honor X8e 4G Price and Availability
The Honor X8e 4G is available in three colour options: Sunrise Orange, Desert Gold and Velvet Black.
The smartphone has appeared on Honor’s official Azerbaijan website. Local retailers in Azerbaijan list the 6GB RAM and 256GB storage variant at prices ranging from AZN 688 to AZN 820, equivalent to approximately $400 to $480.
Honor has not provided pricing or availability details for other markets in the supplied information. Buyers outside Azerbaijan will need to wait for local announcements to learn whether the device will launch in their regions.
With its large battery, 120Hz display, 108MP main camera, and durability features, the Honor X8e 4G is aimed at users who want a feature-packed smartphone for everyday use. However, its HD+ screen resolution, 5MP selfie camera, and lack of 5G connectivity are important factors to consider before purchasing.
