Honor WIN 2 and WIN Pad Photographed: RGB Accents, Huge Cameras, and Cheap Prices – Andro-News

Honor has decided to steal the spotlight from the rival OnePlus 16 launch by giving the green light for publishing studio photos of its new gaming lineup. Alongside revealing the designs of the Honor WIN 2, WIN RT2 smartphones, and the WIN Pad tablet, Chinese marketers immediately started teasing aggressive “anti-crisis” pricing.

The company claims that the top-tier Honor WIN 2, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 in a 12/512GB configuration, will qualify for government subsidies in China. This ensures its price will stay under the 6000 yuan mark (roughly $897 or 40,437 UAH). The base WIN RT2 model featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 will be even cheaper. Considering the previous generation of these smartphones visited our testing lab and delivered outstanding gaming performance thanks to its active cooling, this new lineup looks incredibly promising. It is shaping up to be a great, relatively inexpensive gaming option with solid battery life.

As for styling, the company revamped its design language. While the previous generation hid its gaming roots behind a plain exterior, the flagship WIN 2 embraces the aesthetic with a dedicated RGB LED ring around the flash and a hardware camera shutter button on the side frame. On the streamlined WIN RT2, however, no RGB lighting is visible. Its large island houses only a standard elongated triple LED flash, two cameras, a cooling turbine, and a mysterious oval sensor. The color palette remains shared across both phones: black, white, and a silver finish with a red-blue hue.

The Honor WIN Pad tablet takes things a step further. It flaunts a gigantic rectangular block on the back panel designed for exactly one camera lens. It sits next to a cooling fan grille and an LED flash shaped like the new Honor logo. For hardcore gamers, the company will offer a magnetic cooler and a gamepad-holder as optional accessories. The full official presentation of this exotic gaming hardware is set for October 21.
