The AirPods 4 finally make Apple’s entry-level earbuds feel modern again. They’re lighter, sound cleaner thanks to the H2 chip, and the switch to USB-C makes life easier if you already charge everything else that way. You still get the classic open-fit feel, so they’re great for podcasts, music, and hopping between devices.
The AirPods 4 with ANC are even better. Apple has somehow made noise cancellation work on an open-fit earbud, and while it’s not Pro-level, it takes the edge off busy commutes and loud offices in a way that feels genuinely useful.
