I’ve been waiting for this to happen, but the LG C5 55-inch has finally dropped to its lowest price of $1,049.99 (was $1,246.99) at Amazon US. It’s been sitting at $1,196.99 for a while now, but Black Friday has brought this top-tier OLED’s price to a new low.
In the UK, the C5 55-inch has had another discount at Crampton & Moore, dropping to £979 (was £1,899), a new record-low price, beating the previous by £20.

The LG C5 is one of the best OLED TVs I’ve tested in 2025. It delivers on all fronts, be it movies, gaming, smart applications, you name it.
What impressed me most impressed by the LG C5 was its picture quality. It delivers punchy, vibrant colors that are perfect for animated movies, I tested such as The Wild Robot, and for more colorful real-world movies, such as The Sound of Music. Its color reproduction looks accurate, but really pops on screen when it needs to.
Its contrast is also brilliant, with deep blacks that OLED fans will love and bright highlights to create powerful contrast. Contrast-rich movies such as The Batman and Dark City do truly look fantastic on the C5.
The C5 is up there with the best gaming TVs as well. It has four HDMI 2.1 ports, which all support 4K 144Hz, FreeSync and G-Sync, HGiG, Dolby Vision gaming, and ALLM. Its 9.2ms input lag time delivers ultra-smooth gameplay, even when playing even the most intense games, as I discovered playing Battlefield V. The C5 handled the battle sequences, which required snappy targeting with ease.
