Android users: rejoice. If you’ve been keeping an eye out for Oura Ring deals but have found yourself unlucky and discount-less, I’ve got a great alternative wrapped around my finger.

Samsung’s Galaxy Ring might not have as many bells and whistles as the Oura Ring, but it’s still one of the most competitive smart rings you can buy. The best part? There’s no subscription attached to this ring — unlike Oura, who paywalls your data behind a $70 annual membership.

The Galaxy Ring debuted last year, and some of the hottest features include its seven-day battery life, stress tracking, activity tracking that automatically initiates when you’ve begun a workout, cycle tracking, and a comfortable, slim fit.

While I tested the smart ring, I found that it was lightweight and discreet, which massively helps if you’re interested in tracking your sleep. Sleep-tracking with a watch has always been complicated and clunky. I’ve fought bright screens, a light show of green and red sensors dazzling on my wrist, and a feeling that I need to position my arm perfectly to drift off. I face almost none of these issues with the Galaxy Ring (besides seeing those red and green sensors around my finger in the dark every so often).

Some people might use both a smartwatch for activity tracking and a smart ring for sleep, and since the Galaxy Ring is already within the Samsung ecosystem, it’s easy to host all that data within one place. There are few brands that do both successfully, and Samsung is one of them.

How I rated this deal

I’ve never seen the price of Samsung’s Galaxy Ring this low, at $266. It’s 34% off, so I’ll deem this a 5/5 deal. But this deal probably only applies during Amazon’s two-day deals event, which runs from Oct. 7 through Oct. 8.

This deal probably will only be this low during Amazon’s two-day October Prime Day, which ends tonight, Oct. 8.
