Best Walmart deals to compete with Prime Day: My favorite deals from Apple, Samsung, and HP

Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale, taking place on October 7-8, is a great time to snag discounts on tech for your home and office — and October Prime Day has now arrived. 

Sales are available on a variety of tech products, including laptops, TVs, headphones, smartphones, and more. We’ve spotted some noteworthy deals on tech and accessories over at Walmart, which has now dropped a competing sale to Amazon.

• HP Victus: $719 (save $331): If you need a mid-range Windows 11 laptop for when you are working from home, consider the HP Victus, a reasonably powerful laptop now available at a discount. Specifications include a 15.6-inch display and 16GB of RAM.
• HP Stream: $205 (save $44): The HP Stream usually appears in sales events, and right now, you can enjoy a $44 discount. This is a suitable model for study and general use, and I recommend this laptop for anyone looking for a school-ready laptop. Interesting color finishes are on sale.
• HP OmniBook 5: $698 (save $242): The HP OmniBook 5 is an interesting option for creative applications. It comes with a 16-inch display, Copilot+, 2and an AMD Ryzen AI 7 processor. 
• Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i: $265 (save $74): You can save over $70 on a slimline, affordable laptop. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i provides you with a 15.6-inch display, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage.
• MSI Thin 15.6-inch laptop: $647 (save $253): If you want to combine a thin form factor with gaming potential, consider the discount available on this MSI model.
• Acer Chromebook 315: $183 (save $46): In the market for a Chromebook? You can save almost $50 on an Acer Chromebook 315, an entry-level model suitable for basic tasks and school.
• Acer Nitro V: $749 (save $300): Save $300 on a gaming-ready laptop. Specifications include a 16-inch WUXGA display with a 180Hz refresh rate, AMD Ryzen 7 processor, and Nvidia RTX 5050 Graphics.
• Lenovo Legion 5: $949 (save $301): A discount is also available on another powerful laptop, including a 15.1-inch WQXGA OLED display, a Ryzen 7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage.

Tablet deals

• Lenovo Tab: $141 (save $39): There is also a small discount available on the Lenovo Tab, an entry-level tablet that will suit most day-to-day tasks. 
• Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite: $127 (save $32): Another budget-friendly tablet option is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, an 8.7-inch model with 32GB of storage. I have previously owned one and found it great for reading and basic tasks while on the road. 
• Lenovo Tab M11: $160 (save $35): This tablet is one I purchased for a family member for basic browsing and email-related tasks. It’s on sale and comes with an 11-inch display and 64GB of storage.
• Galaxy Tab A9: $120 (save $130): For an even cheaper tablet, consider the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9, a compact, 8.7-inch tablet that could suit you for reading and basic tasks. 
• Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+: $355 (save $245): Another tablet sale to consider is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. With a saving of almost $250, this tablet is equipped with a 12.4-inch display, 128GB of storage, and an S-Pen for creative applications.
• Apple 10.9-inch iPad (2022): $242 (save $107): If you need a basic iPad for tasks such as emailing and social media, you can save $80 on a 10.9-inch, 64GB model.

TV deals

• LG 77-inch 4K UHD OLED Web OS Smart TV: $1,849 (save $148): If you’re looking for a TV with a huge amount of display real estate, an LG OLED model is also on sale at Walmart.
• Samsung U8000FB 4K smart TV (2025): $898 (save $100): If you prefer Samsung models, save $100 on this 85-inch 4K option.
• Hisense 65-inch Class 4K UHD LCD Roku Smart TV: $328 (save $50): You can also save $50 on a 65-inch TV from Hisense, which offers Roku streaming and a 4K Ultra HD resolution.
• Onn HD LED Roku smart TV: $88 (save $10): If you want a small, 32-inch TV with some smart features, this deal is for you. The discount is small, but it has reduced the price of an already cheap TV.
• Philips HD smart TV: $118 (save $50): Another cheap 32-inch TV available at Walmart is manufactured by Philips. As this one is borderless, it provides slightly more viewing real estate. 
• Vizio smart TV: $98 (save $20): Alternatively, a 32-inch Vizio TV is also on sale at Walmart for $98. 
• Hisense 4K UHD LED Roku smart TV: $478 (save $220): You can also save $220 on a 75-inch Hisense model with 4K UHD resolution.
• Govee DreamView indoor LED gaming lights: $70 (save $20): An interesting TV accessory is a set of gaming lights, a light bar, and camera, can provide great ambience for your next gaming sessions. 

Headphone and soundbar deals

• JBL Live 460NC: $40 (save $90): This discount is a steal for a pair of robust JBL over-ear headphones. The same discount is available at Amazon, in black. 
• Roku Streambar SE: $69 (save $31): The Roku Streambar SE combines streaming capabilities with two speakers and a bass port.
• Beats Studio Buds +: $149 (save $21): The best discount around is for the ivory version of the Beats Studio Buds + earbuds, which offer immersive sound and a long battery life.
• Apple AirPods Max (USB-C): $430 (save $120): If a pair of blue or midnight Apple AirPods Max appeals to you, the USB-C version of Apple’s premium audio line is available with a discount of $120.
